The Position Job Title: Apprentice Install Control Coordinator Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship Duration: 15 Months EPA Location: Peterborough PE2 6FZ Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm Salary: £17,000 Role and Responsibilities: The key focus of the role is to support the Field Engineering workforce on the day to day of customer installations. Report director to our Team Leader and will engage with team members and other internal departments, outsourced suppliers and customers. You will assist in making sure key processes and activities are adhered to, such as start and end of day, time slot adherence, jeopardy management and engineer utilization. They will confirm that all daily jobs have been completed, and all the key information is captured, liaising with the field teams to resolve any issues. · The Installation coordinator role will be assisting the team with our customers during the install process. · You will be initiating the install process and seeing it through to completion. · You will take on other’s installation administration tasks when colleagues are unavailable. · You will be required to input and update data into the company internal systems as necessary continually liaising with other departments within the business. Training will be given, · You will be able to keep track of multiple installations, manage the installation diary and ensure field engineers are where they should be. · You will not require knowledge of broadband engineering (you’ll pick it up) but should be able to liaise with the engineering teams/management as required. · Manage customer satisfaction and ensure customer expectations are realistic. · Manage reported repairs and raise rickets to technical support as required. · You will be required to make outbound calls to customer and remain calm and professional when things do not go according to expectations. · You will be able to look at computer mapping and online imagery and be able to make rational decisions relating to installations (training will be given). · You will need to have a family and approachable manner on the phone. · Complete daily/weekly reporting. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: What we need from you · You will have thrived in a installation administration role in a fast-paced environment. · Experience of using Salesforce desirable, training will be given. · Have worked in customer service or have had regular contact with customers on a regular basis · You will have had to deal with all sorts of customers always making them feel valued · You will be reactive throughout the day while jobs are being completed · You will keep on top of many activities prioritising as the day goes on · You will focus on the detail and ensure everything gets done Special Aptitudes · Confidential in all matters. · A professional approach, coupled with vital interpersonal skills and strong stakeholder management. · Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. · Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills. · Ability to work collaboratively and complete tasks and implement process changes.
