The Role We are looking to re cruit a Senior Audiologist to jo in the Audiology at Princess Gate, Hamilton The successful candidate will be a practicing healthcare Practitioner, who contributes towards provision of a comprehensive Audiology Service and takes part in contributing to service development and maintains professional standards. The post holder will assist the Chief Audiologist in the daily clinical work of the department and is responsible for managing own workload and the supervision of Assistant Audiologists, as well as having a lead role in one or more of the specialist areas of Audiology Service provision This involves comprehensive rehabilitative care, complex diagnostic assessments of hearing, and care for all adult hearing aid users, children of all ages, and their carers/relatives. The successful candidate will also: Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with other professionals and service users, including patients, carers and relatives. Provide clinical assessments and hearing aid programming and provision using complex computer software and specific specialised hardware.
