MFL Teacher - September 2024 - Maternity cover role!
Join Our Team as a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher at a well-regarded secondary school in Chepstow! This "Good" Ofsted-rated school is seeking a MFL teacher to contribute to their dynamic educational environment. This exciting opportunity is available on a full or part-time basis and will commence in September of 2024 as a Maternity cover contract.
Role Highlights:
* Engaging and effective teaching of French up to A-Level and Spanish to KS3.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters active learning and student engagement.
* Planning and delivering lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Regularly assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the wider MFL department and school initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
* Specialisation or experience in teaching French and Spanish.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
* Passion for languages and inspiring students in their language learning journey.
* Excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.
Terms and Benefits:

Competitive daily rates PAYE: £140 to £250 based on experience, qualifications, and pay scale.
