Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance: Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on a range of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Multi-skilled Support: Use your mechanical skills to assist with maintenance and repair of machinery, mechanical systems, and production lines, supporting a wide range of production processes.
Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine checks and planned maintenance to identify potential issues before they cause disruption to production.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring swift resolution to keep operations running smoothly.
Project Support: Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems, ensuring all electrical installations meet safety and quality standards.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including fault reports, repairs, and parts used.Requirements:
Qualifications: Recognized qualification in electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) and ideally an apprenticeship or similar training in a maintenance or engineering discipline.
Experience: Strong experience in a manufacturing environment, with a solid electrical bias. Experience working with PLCs, drives, motors, and control panels is essential.
Multi-skilled: Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance is preferred, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment across different systems.
Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and resolving technical issues.
Health & Safety: A good understanding of health and safety standards and experience working in compliance with them.
Shift Flexibility: Ability to work on the shift pattern (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) Monday to Friday.Benefits:
