We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim Manager for one of our clients Elderly Nursing Homes in Hampshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing home management and dementia care. This is an interim contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, including staff management, budget control, and resource allocation.
- Implement and maintain effective care plans for residents, with a particular focus on those with dementia.
- Ensure the delivery of person-centered care that meets the individual needs of each resident.
- Manage and support the nursing and care staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Liaise with residents' families and external healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, including CQC requirements.
- Handle any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally, maintaining a positive environment for residents and staff.
- Report regularly to senior management on the performance and progress of the nursing home.
