We do this by delivering an outstanding educational experience and creating prosperity and opportunity in the communities we serve. Whatever your role, you’ll be playing a vital part in helping us achieve our vision.
About the role:

As a Software Tester, you will be part of a vibrant community that values creativity, teamwork, and professional growth. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and make a meaningful impact on our university's success.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Test Manager in implementing a testing strategy for software deliverables. You will use recommended tools to manage the testing process, ensuring policies and best practices are adhered to. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Writing and executing manual and automated test cases for project test cycles.
2. Performing automated testing using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright.
3. Providing 3rd line support to both stakeholders and development teams through investigation, analysis, and resolution of queries raised via the Service Desk and throughout the project development lifecycle.
About you:
We are seeking candidates with experience working within a digital environment, a relevant degree preferably in an IT related subject or equivalent experience, and strong problem-solving skills. You should have coordination skills in supporting stakeholders through User Acceptance Testing, the ability to learn and write development code using JavaScript and TypeScript, and the ability to successfully meet project delivery deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to train system end users, are essential.
What we can offer you:
Our people are our most important asset. We’ll encourage you to make the most of your talents and continually develop your skills and knowledge. As well as realising your career ambitions, you’ll be making a positive difference to other people’s lives. We also offer a fantastic package of rewards and lifestyle benefits – from an attractive annual leave entitlement to access to a comprehensive employee benefits platform.
