Focusing on planned preventative maintenanceyou will engage in mitigation of risks by proactively addressingand resolving issues. Raising the availability and quality of theequipment is the daily job.
Our techniciansfocus in on our operational team, their customers, with supportfrom the team and theirleaders.
Shift Pattern: This roleincludes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which mayinclude nights and weekends
Key jobresponsibilities
• Put health & safety best practicesfirst in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health& safety standards and regulations.
• Carry outplanned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipmentwithin the site.
• React quickly to breakdowns,communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fixthe issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learningfrom breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions forimprovements through the line manager.
• Provide highlevels of equipment availability to our internalcustomers.
• Support and learn from Senior ReliabilityEngineering Technicians.
• Management ofcontractors.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
• Served a full engineering indenturedapprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 orequivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactoryGuided Learning Hours).
• Multi skilled in bothelectrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience ofplanned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experiencefault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automationsystems.
• Experience in interpreting both mechanical andelectrical drawings.
• Experience of conveyormaintenance, motorcontrollers/inverters.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
• Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc,BEng
• Experience of high voltage switching.
•Experience of sortation machines.
• Experience ofmaintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
• Experienceof print and apply machines.
• Experience in faultfinding on building equipment i.e HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing andgeneral building maintenancetasks.
