Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Sizewell, Suffolk
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Sizewell Team. To be considered, you will come from a Construction or Civil Engineering Background.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance process, ensuring a project is handed over with accurate records and within the agreed timescales and quality standards. This document should be read in conjunction with the Galldris Services Ltd Safety Management System.
Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to:
1. Support the operational team with accurate record keeping and document control
2. Collate and manage ITPs with the engineering team and subcontractors
3. Support design coordinators and design managers with their duties
4. Track equipment and update equipment registers
5. Update and ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan
6. Ensure project compliance with the project and Galldris quality procedures
7. Support the engineering team and subcontractors with the NCR process
8. Awareness of project-specific handover documentation. Track, collate, and handover documentation to support the Handover File and O&Ms
9. Awareness of Environmental issues within the construction company environment and the Environmental Manual policy and objectives
10. Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety issues within the construction company environment and the Galldris Services Ltd OH&S policy statement and objectives
11. Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position
12. Comply with Company policies & procedures
Experience/Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
2. Good knowledge of plant
3. Construction or Civil Engineering experience is essential
Skills:
1. Good Communication Skills
2. Thorough understanding of Workflow
3. Commitment to the implementation of Materials Logistics
4. Ability to work with initiative when outside influences affect planned operations
Qualifications:
1. Degree or similar
2. CSCS Cards
3. SSSTS or SMSTS
4. TWC - Preferable
