Scope and Responsibilities General Duties Manage the regional technical services organization Ensures MOHG technical services are provided in accordance with the MOHG guidelines, policy and procedures to new projects and existing hotels Contribute to the continuous update of MOHG PS&G Plan, organize, and streamline processes. Ensure area program are prepared in accordance with MOHG PSG and MOHG templates Facilitate communication and cross-functional support Allow each project to benefit from collective knowledge, creativity, and experience of the group. Achieve sense of place and brand defining design Resolve RET disagreements Manage cost effective, timely delivery of technical services Enforce TS agreement Ensure MOHG internal reports are duly completed Ensure good record keeping of all projects information. Manage departmental budget within the approved annual budget. New Projects Assist Regional Director of Development with new project prior to LOI, including preparation of Preliminary Area Program, review project feasibility and meeting with owners/developers’ team. Assign project leaders to each project post HMA. Ensure project leaders are providing technical services in accordance with the MOHG guidelines, policy and procedures. Provide professional advisory and managerial support to the Regional Director of Operation in the following: Participate in the formulation of the annual and five-year major capex plans for each hotel. Participate in executive meetings. Hotel Asset / Project Management Assist in managing the major CAPEX plan and budget for the assigned region. Responsible for the project management for all major CAPEX covering budgeting, planning, administration, implementation and execution of each project. Financial Responsibility Manage departmental budget. Manage technical services fees Responsible for the preparation and management of budgets for major renovation and for new projects where MOHG is a direct investor. Support the hotels’ Financial Controller with the major CAPEX budgets reporting. Human Resources Responsibility Recruitment and selection of new technical services colleagues. Career development programs for TS colleagues. Evaluation and recognition of TS colleagues. Office Automation Proficient with MS-office application (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Proficient user of MS Projects, PDF writer Other software that may be used Autocad, Blue Beam and Visio Languages The primary language for the function is English for verbal and written communication. Other languages such as, German and Spanish are welcome. Travel Extensive travel (within the region) will be necessary to meet the demand of the position. Annual travel to Hong Kong might be required to attend group conferences.
