The role is responsible for Drive’s Health and Safety function through the delivery of effective health and safety standards and safe working practices. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and monitor organisational Health and Safety systems, processes, policies, procedures, and practice in line with current legislation. You will also advise and guide Drive’s Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees on all matters relating to Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:
* You will be the first point of contact in all Health and Safety matters at Drive.
* You will advise on all health and safety matters, keeping Drive and key stakeholders informed of current legislation and regulatory requirements, professional codes of practice, sector guidance as appropriate.
* You will promote and champion a strong and robust health and safety culture across Drive, ensuring a consistent professional approach to the management, knowledge and understanding of health and safety compliance.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar role, and particularly candidates with experience in Health and Social Care (desired but not essential)
* Commitment to travel when required
Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
