We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven Site Supervisor join our Monitoring team. As a member of Monitoring, you will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance to be proactive and independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player. A strong understanding of the industry, experience in monitoring and offering technical advice are essential in order to thrive in this role. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Installation, commissioning and monitoring of geotechnical and structural instrumentation on site, and ensuring all works are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner Single point of contact for site activities to ensure the sage and quality execution of works Carrying out all proactive and re-active HSE requirements Completion of site daily reports, liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors and site personnel Attending meetings, liaising with clients, agreeing programme and sequence of works Hiring necessary plant and sub-contractors in liaison with the Project Managers Keeping detailed records of all site activities and submitting to Project Managers Looking for continuously and communicating to the Operations/Project Manager, ideas for improving the quality and efficiency of the Company s operations, products and services Keeping own work areas/company vehicles and any equipment used clean and tidy wherever possible Training other employees in technical and operation matters and above responsibilities, as and when required Taking appropriate steps to ensure health and safety of employees and sub-contractors and compliance with the Company s and Main Contractors safety policies Carrying out other related duties as may from time to time be required To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Experience of working in a construction environment Experience of Instrumentation and Monitoring equipment Keen eye for detail with some exposure to complex installations Experience in managing a team of engineers on site Desirable: Geotechnical Instrumentation experience, including working with drill rigs and in remote environments Experience working on rail infrastructure Experience working in tunnels Experience of working day/night shifts Other tickets: SSSTS.
