Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEMH Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Rayleigh Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials to support individual student requirements Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure academic goals are met Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Experience working with students with SEMH needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning Ability to differentiate teaching methods to cater to individual student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work in a home or educational setting Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
