One of our local clients, a driving force in domestic and commercial water solutions, is looking for a Production Assistant whose role will also include some team leading responsibilities.
The main duties of the role have been defined as:
• Daily despatch of customer duties, checking of picked orders ready for despatch to ensure that the customer receives their full order, on time.
• Goods inwards/storage, operation of the IT system; to raise purchase order requests and purchase orders, print despatch labels, booking goods inwards and liaising with colleagues
• Arranging import and export of goods, liaising with appointed freight forwarder
• Product assembly, building and testing of products in the domestic product range to ensure that these are built and tested to our high specifications including completion of testing documents and guarantee information
• Good returns and technical queries for both internal and external customers by phone and email ensuring that they receive the most recent and up to date information and be able to solve their problems in a timely manner
• Stock control: Using Qliq software and managing stock movements/location changes recorded on Sage 200
• Plan work and production tasks and lead team to fulfill stock quantities in line with stock levels required for customer order requirements
