We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to ensure safe, on-time train departures and provide top-notch customer support at the station. If you're a self-starter with great communication skills and a can-do attitude, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You'll Do?
1. Provide outstanding customer service and assistance.
2. Ensure safe and timely train dispatch.
3. Provide helpful information and assistance to customers.
4. Prioritize the safety of customers, colleagues, and visitors.
5. Keep the station clean and secure.
6. Collaborate with teams to provide real-time information during disruptions.
7. Enhance customer security through your strong visibility within the station.
What We're Looking For?
8. Strong team player, able to work independently.
9. Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills.
10. Computer literate and comfortable using apps.
Working Pattern?
Part-time 28 hours a week over 4 days. You must be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. The station operates from 05:30 – 00:45 you must be able to work between these hours.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates are tentatively scheduled for the week commencing 21/04/2025.
What to Expect?
11. After submitting your application, you will need to complete an online assessment.
12. Shortlisted candidates will be invited complete an online assessment – Train Dispatch Multi-Tasking Test (recommended on a laptop/computer).
13. Successful candidates will be invited for a competency-based interview.
14. Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a colour vision test and drug and alcohol screening.
15. Full training will be provided, including a 3-week training programme in Swindon.
