To provide healthcare to patients, promoting health and well-being within the prisoner population whilst implementing a stepped-care model of delivery. We are looking for experienced Mental Health Practitioners: RMN, Social Workers (Mental Health), Occupational Therapists (Mental Health), Speech and Language Therapists (Mental Health) to join our integrated mental health team (IMHT). The role will involve assessment and caseload management of those referred into mental health services. Practitioners will work under autonomously whilst also contributing to the MDT and wider integrated healthcare team. You will support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, risk assessments confidently communicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans. You will work with individuals on a 1-2-1 and group basis and will model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence. As an AHP (OT or SLT), you will maintain your professional registration and provide specialist assessment, consultation and guidance as well as managing your own caseload. You will receive clinical supervision from a senior AHP and play an exciting role in shaping the delivery of AHP services within the prison. You will contribute to our healthcare strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice Competency framework.
