Administration An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk to work within our Acute Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU2/WARD 4).
Permanent 34 hours per week

Main Duties of the Job
A Ward Clerk on EAU2 is a fast-paced and challenging role. Duties include the following:
1. Working with a large friendly team to ensure that patients are safely admitted, transferred, and discharged accurately.
2. Answering the phone from different departments, members of the multidisciplinary team, and relatives of patients on the Unit, providing a professional response at all times.
3. Having good knowledge of the various admin systems that are in use within the Trust (Training will be provided).
4. Assisting with ordering various supplies for the Unit.
5. Responsible for self, allocated workload, and time management.
6. Directly managed by the Ward Manager and accountable to the Unit Managers, working closely with them to create positive outcomes.
