The Role of the Internal Sales Engineer
6. Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
7. Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to new and existing customers
8. Ensuring orders are processed quickly and that information allowing for design and manufacturing is passed to the relevant department
9. Ensuring that customers are kept informed of order (contract) status and that any issues are resolved quickly
10. Maintaining accurate up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, orders and customer activity
11. Pursue new business opportunities
12. Occasional site and customer visits
13. Supporting the Contracts, Engineering and Production departments
14. Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements.
