Senior Registered Manager

Salary: £65,000 to £73,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Hours per week: 40
Are you a passionate about transforming the lives of Young People? We have an exciting and unique opportunity to reestablish and rebuild an existing service.
In addition to holding registration for one service, the Senior Registered Manager will be responsible for supporting delivery of high-quality care and shaping culture that is congruent with the mission, vision, and values of Young Foundations. The Senior Registered Manager duties will be held in conjunction with the Registered Manager job description.
As a Senior Registered Manager, you will:
-Manage a Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
-Assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision.
-Co-ordinate and monitor staffing levels within the home to ensure that individual needs are met.
-Ensure that the standards within the home are maintained and developed in line with the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2001.
-Maintain a clean and safe environment paying particular attention to Health and Safety legislation and environmental health needs.
-Work proactively with monitoring bodies to ensure that services are developing beyond the set standards.
-Support Young Foundations services as when required across the organisation.
-To represent the organisation at external events.
-To deputise in the absence of the Operations Director as requested.
-To contribute to working groups/practice development as and when required e.g. Deputy Manager development, induction.
Requirements:
-Proven experience at Senior level in a Residential Home for adults/young people
-Able to demonstrate advanced practice skills and experience in managing challenging behaviour.
-Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC fundamental working standards and regulations.
-Working knowledge of the National Care Standards, Care Act and Regulations.
-DipSW, CQSW, NVQ 3/4/5 in Working with Young People / adult Management or a willingness to work towards this.
-Good attention to detail and work to high standards.
