Job Description
Janah Management Company Ltd (sister company of Godolphin Management Co Ltd) is currently recruiting for the position of Horsebox Driver. The successful applicant will be responsible for the transportation and care of horses on international and national trips, with the horses’ welfare being paramount.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold:
1. A current and valid HGV licence (Category C)
2. Level 3 Award in the Principles of transporting horses by road on long journeys (formerly ACET)
3. Valid Drivers (Tachograph) Card
4. Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC)
5. Certificate of Competence for Drivers and Attendants (EU)
In addition, previous experience in the equine industry is essential. The ability to work flexible hours, including overnight stays and weekends, is also required for this role.
You will provide excellent customer service to all contacts, both internal and external, and have a good understanding of current EU transport and vehicle legislation (the EU version of Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable), ensuring the vehicle is safe for the road.
