Job Brief:
As an Order Intake team member, you will play a significant role by producing accurate and timely quotes for our customer. You will be required to collaborate with other departments to ensure that quotes are competitive and aligned with company objectives. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our sales and operations at EOS.
What You'll Do:
* Order & Quote Processing: Review, validate, and process customer orders and quotes within the company’s ERP/CRM systems.
* Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all orders meet company policies, pricing agreements, and regulatory requirements.
* Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding order status, pricing inquiries, and issue resolution.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
* Issue Resolution: Identify discrepancies in orders and quotes, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
* Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to streamline order intake and processing workflows.
* Reporting & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy in the system.
What You'll Need:
Essential Criteria:
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
* Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task.
* Problem-solving and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Good work ethic
* Ability to work in a team and as well as under minimum supervision.
Desirable Criteria:
* Proven experience in pricing, quoting or sales operation.
* Basic knowledge of Sage (X3) is preferred.
* Familiarity with CRM, ideally Saleforce
* Experience with Google Docs and Sheets.
* Knowledge of advanced Excel formulas, including Pivot Tables and Power Query, VLOOKUP, etc.
* Familiarity with processing purchase orders is preferred.
* Experience with billing is preferred.
