We have a great opportunity to join the team as a Security Officer working for a well-known company in Kent.
The rate of the pay is £12.61.
This is a full-time role. You will be working a 42 hour week, working on a 4 on 4 off basis and the shifts are 12 hours. This means you need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday and to cover day and night shifts.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
It's a varied role and your duties will include:
- Patrolling and securing the area, and establishing presence
- Control and monitor surveillance equipment and perform building and equipment inspections.
- Protecting the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Responding to alarms and emergencies.
- Communicating any irregularities with management.
- Keeping an incident report record.
- Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, accident investigations
- Booking in colleagues, visitors, contractors, and tenants onto site.
- Aid people in need.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
- Creating profiles and activating passes with the correct access level.
- Monitor the security pages ensuring site rules are being maintained and the system is in good order.
- Checking ID/ Verifying individuals coming onto to the site
- Enforcing the rules of the site
- Completing Daily logs
- Handover to oncoming guard
- Filing of paperwork
- Operating of the main Gate during out of hours.
- Bagging and disposing of confidential waste.
- Sending Reports
- Calling emergency engineer when required
- Printing of Tenant permanent passes
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA License and have experience working in the security industry.
You must have a driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the location being in a rural area.
