Chief Operating Officer (COO) Crosby Housing Association Salary: Circa £70,000 (includes essential car user allowance) Location: Waterloo, Sefton Full-time, 35-hour week (Part time hours will be considered) Crosby Housing Association (CHA) is a small, community-based housing association with a proud history of making a difference in South Sefton. Located primarily in Seaforth and Waterloo, CHA owns and manages over 440 properties, providing affordable, good-quality housing to local people. About the Role: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key leadership role at the heart of our community. Were looking for a proactive and empathetic leader who will work closely with the CEO to strengthen and shape the future of CHA. You will lead a dedicated team of housing professionals, overseeing strategic initiatives, ensuring the associations objectives are met. Your leadership will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services, fostering innovation, and maintaining CHAs commitment to its customers and the wider community. Key areas of work will include: Influencing and managing change within a fast-moving housing sector, ensuring CHA stays responsive and adaptable to the needs of the community. Maintaining a strong focus on excellent customer service and community initiatives, ensuring customers and stakeholders receive the highest standard of care. Taking the lead in maintaining and strengthening risk management systems, ensuring full compliance with statutory, regulatory and audit requirements. Collaborating with senior leadership, board members, and Community Housing Partnership colleagues to develop strategies that align with our values and long-term objectives. Succession planning and building teams and initiatives for the future. Fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where staff, volunteers, and the wider community feel valued and respected.
