The role of the CAMHS Pathway Co-ordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the CAMHS Service by collecting, recording, analysing, interpreting and reporting of statistical data required to monitor compliance against waiting times for CAMHS Services within the All Wales Standards and Service and Financial Framework annual targets.
The post holder will supervise the administrative and clerical staff within the CAMHS Team, organising their workload as necessary and reviewing systems and processes in line with service needs.
Main Duties of the Job
Responsible for accurate and timely recording of the whole patient pathway on the CAMHS Waiting Lists.
The role involves being an integral member of the Multi Disciplinary Teams (MDT), co-ordinating, organising, attending and administering a number of weekly MDT meetings.
The CAMHS Pathway Coordinator reviews the progress of patients' journey through the care pathway and core services such as speech and language, education, community paediatrics and CAMHS. This pathway is both within and external to the Organisation and includes liaison with the departments involved in providing care and core services, ensuring that planned patient treatment progresses smoothly and in a timely manner.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
* EDCL or willingness to undertake
* Good standard of general education
* Must be willing to undergo additional training and attendance at study days as required to ensure ongoing post development
* ILM Management Level 3 or equivalent experience
* NVQ 3 or equivalent experience plus relevant practical experience and knowledge of specialised functional terms
* Extensive and demonstrate knowledge and experience (to at least RSA level 3 or equivalent) of the full range of administrative systems, software programmes to include Microsoft applications (word, excel, email)
Desirable Criteria
* Evidence of ongoing study relevant to this position
* Previous experience of managing staff
* Experience of waiting list management
