We are looking for dedicated and flexible Supply Teachers to join New Directions for Supply work on an ad-hoc basis. As a Supply Teacher, you will be required to step into various classrooms across different year groups to provide cover in the absence of permanent staff. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across different stages of primary education while contributing to a positive learning atmosphere for students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Welsh curriculum.
* Ensure continuity of learning for pupils during periods of teacher absence.
* Maintain a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support pupils in their learning, ensuring they stay engaged and focused.
* Communicate effectively with staff to ensure a smooth transition for both students and teachers.
* Promote the values of the school and contribute to the overall ethos of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working in a school setting.
* A good understanding of the Welsh curriculum and its key stages.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in different year groups as required.
* A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A proactive, responsible attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of education.
