The Role:
1. Work on a flexible basis, choosing when and where you work (from 1 to 5 days per week).
2. Support pupils with SEND in primary, secondary, special schools, and colleges.
3. Assist with 1:1 support, small group work, and classroom-based learning.
4. Work with pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and more.
5. Gain hands-on experience in different educational settings, making it ideal for those considering a long-term career in SEND education.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND (desirable but not essential).
2. A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach.
3. The ability to build rapport quickly with both pupils and staff.
4. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
