Term Time Only Start date: January 2025 Francis Holland, Sloane Square, is looking for a Cover Supervisor to attend to short-term planned or unplanned absence of a teacher by taking form time and supervising lessons throughout the day. Interpretation of work set by the class teacher, actively promoting high expectations for pupils at all times and completing other administrative tasks are required by the role. The Cover Supervisor will report to the Assistant Head Academic. The hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm with one hour lunch break between Monday to Friday, term time only. The full-time equivalent salary for this position is £36,408.60 (A14 salary scale). Some of the responsibilities of this role include: To cover lessons as required; Assisting students during a lesson to complete set tasks; Work and collaborate with teachers to plan cover work for an absence known in advance, and prepare a bank of materials that are made available; To be an active member of the FHS staff team and to support the academic staff in embedding a strong culture of learning throughout the school; To attend relevant meetings and provide administrative support as required; Manage pupil conduct in line with school policies using strategies to promote an outstanding attitude to learning, thus ensuring progress continues to take place.
