Join our Maintenance team as a Multiskilled Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Engineer at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a crucial role in delivering our portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients addressing a wide population of patients. You will be responsible for planned and preventative maintenance work that enables the safety, productivity and efficiency of the plant and broader facilities.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
* Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant and site to ensure we produce, develop and manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients for our customers.
* Ensure adherence to GMP safety, quality and validation protocols at all times.
* Use knowledge and experience to minimise maintenance costs and equipment downtime.
* Troubleshoot equipment and facility failures to remediate identified issues.
* Actively seek solutions to problems, using initiative and working independently.
* Provide vital support to the Haverhill site for both reactive and pro-active maintenance.
* Service and test pressure relief valves.
* Able to understand and interpret operation and maintenance manuals, blueprints and other technical documentation.
* Support the development of knowledge across the team and promote new ways to work.
Our Requirements
* Apprenticeship trained with a level 3 and above qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC.
* Competent in maintenance of facilities, process equipment and utilities. Skilled at fault diagnosis and problem solving.
* Excellent written and spoken English skills - you will be working with external and internal stakeholders and working in a regulated industry.
* Shift Working - you will work a rotating 2 shift flexible working pattern totalling 38.75 hours per week. The shift pattern is currently 06:00-14:15 or 13:45-22:00 Monday to Friday, with weekend cover on standby on rotation.
* Hazardous area training and experience would be preferred.
