As an Accounts Assistant, you will be involved in preparing accounts, supporting bookkeeping tasks, reconciling financial data, and assisting with VAT returns. This role is integral to ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and accurate financial reporting.

Your Role
Responsibilities:
* Accounts preparation work of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Planning and scheduling work to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget
* Ensuring that all client information is obtained timeously, and all Companies House filing deadlines are met
* Presenting managers with complete sets of accounts with minimal queries
* Building and maintaining client relationships
* Working in conjunction with our tax department with preparation of personal tax returns
* Undertaking Xero demonstrations, set ups, and training for clients
Your Education, Skills & Experience:
* Part-qualified Accountant (CA or ACCA) – Not essential
* Experience of accounts preparation
* IT literate including advanced Excel and knowledge of Xero
