We’re looking for someone with excellent administration skills and a good communicator with the ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly and work well with others in a fast-paced environment. You must be well organised and have a desire to learn. Attention to detail and accuracy will be essential.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The post gives support to the team, assisting with the preparation of paperwork for property licences and assisting with data collection in regard to unlicensed properties within the borough. You will also assist in the coordination of Landlord Forums and to support the team with the delivery of projects which aim to drive up standards within the Private Rented Sector.
Your duties will include managing our Housing mailbox using Outlook, and responding to landlords and tenant enquiries both in writing and over the telephone. You will need to maintain awareness of issues that may impact people’s standard of living in the Private rented sector.
You will work in collaboration with other services and senior management to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.
A Standard or Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
