Permanent Data Business Analyst - Insurance - The City, London (hybrid working) I am working with an established insurance organisation, based in The City of London, who are looking for a permanent Data Business Analyst. This is a great role for someone with a minimum of 2 years working in the business analysis field and looking to further their career. You must have an insurance background and: Certification in Business Analysis (IIBA or equivalent) is highly desirable, but not essential. 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with exposure to data-driven projects and environments. Previous experience working in the insurance industry is essential. Hands-on experience in requirement elicitation, creating Business Requirement Specification (BRS) documents. Full knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and testing teams. Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, prioritize projects, and provide updates on progress. Technical proficiency in tools such as SQL, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite are highly desirable. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is also an advantage. A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
