The role
Providing support set out in care plans to meet the child’s day to day needs
Safeguarding and protecting them from harm
Supporting the young person in developing their skills
Supporting the Child to engage in education
Transporting the young person to appointments and activities
Maintaining a daily log, incident reports and all other paperwork as required
Deescalating challenging behaviours
Role requirements
A minimum of 6 months experience working with Young People and Children
Have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care OR willing to work towards
Experience working with challenging behaviour or complex needs
Reliable and professional
Working hours
Monday to Sunday
12-hour day and night shifts
6 hour respite shifts
£15.50 per hour
