At The Northumberland Church of England Academy, we are committed to creating a nurturing, diverse, and inclusive learning environment where both staff and students can thrive. As part of our ongoing drive to provide the best possible education, we are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity within the primary phase at the Trust.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate primary SENDCo to join our team and work alongside the Headteacher and Primary Director of SEND in leading the development and implementation of SEND provision across the Trust. Whether you are an experienced SENDCo or a dedicated teacher eager to step into this role, we encourage you to apply. Currently holding the NASENCo/NPQSEND qualification is not essential, and we are committed to offering professional development, including statutory training and regular coaching from the Trust.
As the new SENDCo, you will be part of a collaborative team of Primary SENDCos led by our Director of SEND. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our most vulnerable pupils, helping to meet their unique needs and ensuring that they receive the support they deserve. With a focus on early identification and collaboration with parents, carers, and external professionals, we work hard to create a caring environment where every child can flourish.
Please note this position is 1.0fte, permanent.
