Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team for Commercial and Domestic contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
* Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and fixtures.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out tasks.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations across all departments.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
* Must be able to work individually or as part of a team.
Experience
* Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role is essential.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are desirable but not mandatory.
Minimum Requirements
* 1 year of experience as a fully qualified electrician (required).
* Driving Licence (required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,175.00-£34,000.00 per year
