Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative for an well established builders merchant based in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will come from a builders merchant environment and will join on a temp2perm basis.
The Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + Holiday Pay
This role involves:
1. picking orders
2. keeping the yard area safe, tidy and organised
3. operating counterbalance & combi side-loader (training provided if needed)
4. loading and unloading company and customer vehicles
5. helping customers who come in to the yard
To be considered for this role you must have / be:
6. previously worked in a Yard Operative role in a Builders Merchant environment
7. previous experience using a counterbalance or side-loader forklift is preferred but not essential
8. fluent English speaking
9. either living in Borehamwood or easily able to commute
10. looking for a full-time permanent role
11. reliable and hard-working
