This is a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Leader looking for a role outside of London! We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join our client's team on a critical property based in St. Albans. You will be joining one of the market leading firms in Building Services, who will provide you with valuable experience, necessary opportunities to progress internally and additional training! (Including High Voltage Training)
In this role, you will be based in a critical commercial property based in St. Albans, leading a team of Shift Engineers, ensuring all PPM and Reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment is carried out, respond to emergencies on site, file out all relevant paperwork, report into the site manager and ensure client needs are fulfilled.
For this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent), at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance and a polite and personable attitude.
Duties:
PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
Organising subcontractors
Quotations
Health & Safety
Logbooks
Risk assessments
Permits to work
Requirements:
City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
At least 5 years prior experience in commercial maintenance
Experience in High Voltage switching / scheduling - Desirable
Experience in critical environments - Desirable
