About the Role: We are actively seeking a Regional Sales Manager, to join our dedicated sales team. Reporting to the Business Development Director successful applicants will be Responsible for the overall delivery of the sales for their region of depots, developing and executing the regional sales strategy. Management and development of a team of Area Development Managers. Successful applicants will be responsible for depots across the Anglia Region Location: Anglia Region Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 OTE Responsibilities – but not limited to: To optimise consistent performance of the ADMs by managing, motivating, and developing them in line with business and sales objectives Develop and execute business plans to achieve assigned targets for new customer acquisition and revenue and gross margin growth in the region. Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities in the market; establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition and differentiate the company’s solutions from competitors. Negotiate and close new business deals, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, and order fulfilment Serve as a primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers in the region. Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, and share relevant information with internal and external stakeholders. Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to generate leads and build relationships with potential and existing customers. Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute regional marketing campaigns. Monitor competitor activity and share intelligence with internal stakeholders. Prepare reports on regional sales activities and pipeline. Experience and qualifications required for the role: Communication – ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues, and other business professionals to convey ideas, answer questions and solve problems. Relationship building – to develop partnerships, secure contracts and increase sales. ‘ Strategic thinking – to develop strategies for securing new clients and increasing sales. Industry knowledge – understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in the industry as well as latest trends and developments. Business acumen – the ability to understand the financial and operational aspects of the business including the company revenue streams, profit margins, cash flow and other key financial metrics. Experience working in a fast, paced sales environment. Experience in coaching, developing, and managing sales teams. Proven track record of achieving team sales targets. Experience developing and executing sales strategies.
