The Division of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a complex spinal surgeon. The ideal candidate for this position must be board-certified in neurosurgery. The surgeon will have a primary responsibility of developing community neurosurgical spine care in the BIDMC-affiliated hospital in Plymouth, MA and will work in collaboration with other departments to further develop a multidisciplinary spine program. The surgeon will work closely with a partner in the Division to accomplish this. The preferred candidate will have experience in a broad range of neurosurgery, including complex spine surgery, epilepsy surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, complex pain management, spine trauma and/or minimally invasive spinal surgery. The ideal candidate should also possess exceptional teamwork, program development and mentorship abilities. The successful candidate for this position may be considered for appointment as Lecturer, Part-time, at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
