CNC Machinist / Setter / Operator

Our client is a global machinery manufacturer, and they are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their growing team!
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Setting / operating CNC machines, including lights out running
2. Ensure a safe working environment to the individual and any other person
3. Follow the machining process required ensuring components are machined to correct specifications
4. Liaise with other team members, including machinists, engineers, and quality inspectors
5. Escalation of machine malfunctions to initiate corrective actions to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production
6. Record daily output targets, identifying the issues and potential solutions that contribute to missed targets
7. Self-inspection of finished parts
8. Work in compliance with safety policies
9. Measuring & loading / unloading of tooling
10. Change tooling / offsets in accordance with dimensions required
11. Follow engineering drawings and work instructions
12. Monitor & update daily TPM charts, raising any issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate line lead / manager
