If you’re ready for a hands-on role with a great team, this opportunity is for you In the Fleet Mechanic role, you will be: Maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles and equipment in line with safety, manufacturer, and MOT standards Completing necessary documentation and uphold electronic records Keeping workshop areas clean and compliant with Health and Safety regulations Coordinating with departments to meet service demands and deadlines Diagnose, repair, and conduct pre-MOT and periodic checks, including roadside recovery and electric vehicle assessments To be considered for the Fleet Mechanic role, you must have: Previous experience within a similar role Minimum level 3 NVQ in Motor Mechanics or equivalent Knowledge of regulations for equipment use and lifting operations in fleet maintenance Ability or willingness to assess, test, and repair electric vehicles safely Proficient in using diagnostic tools for fault detection and electrical testing Skilled in using various hand and power tools This is a temporary, full-time vacancy initially until January 2025, with the possibility to be extended. The role offers an hourly pay rate of £13.69 holiday pay, with enhanced rates for working evenings and weekends. This role is based near Colwyn Bay and the working hours will be on a shift pattern of either 7am – 3pm or 11am – 7pm Monday to Friday and alternate each week (although some flexibility can be offered).
