We’re looking for a talented Senior Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to implement change and tackle complex challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of MHA during a period of significant growth and transformation of our Systems of Quality Management (‘SoQM’) to deliver consistent quality and support that growth. Your work in designing our SoQM will go beyond numbers – it’s about understanding our business, navigating quality risks, building meaningful relationships within the firm, and delivering insights that drive real improvements. The role will include:
* Collaborating with senior leaders across the firm to support the design and implementation of the policies, procedures and controls within our SoQM that mitigate our quality risks.
* Using your experience of working in audit to drive change to improve audit quality through supporting the remediation of ineffective responses to quality risks by providing innovative and practical ideas for SoQM improvements.
* Monitoring status, collating data and summarising this into suitable formats for reporting to the senior leaders with operation responsibility for our SoQM.
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Technical Team to help implement the firm’s audit quality strategy.
What We’re Looking For
* ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience in a technical role, external audit or equivalent experience in designing and implementing quality control systems.
* Good technical knowledge of auditing and ethical requirements and a track record of achieving good quality.
* Demonstrable ability to work well within a team and on your own.
* Influencing – the ability to persuade others to drive change in a positive way.
* Communication – oral and written, the ability to communicate clearly with a variety of people in different environments.
* Challenge - the ability to challenge appropriately while embracing an open mindset.
* Organisational skills – the ability to juggle a number of different tasks and successfully manage conflicting priorities.
* Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
