Moseley Golf Club is a prestigious and historic club with a strong emphasis on providing an exceptional member and guest experience. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the club's food and beverage service. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including assisting with food preparation, serving food and beverages to members and guests, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with food preparation tasks, such as plating dishes, preparing salads, and garnishing food.
2. Serving food and beverages to members and guests in a professional and timely manner.
3. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the food and beverage service areas.
5. Setting up and clearing tables.
6. Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
7. Providing excellent customer service, ensuring member and guest satisfaction.
8. Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations.
9. Performing other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is preferred, but not essential.
2. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional manner.
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Food hygiene certificate is desirable.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
