We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Installation Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering number of installation projects, leading a field based engineer team, maximising the efficiency of the engineers to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service across the South of the UK.
The Role
As the Installation Supervisor, you will report to the Assistant Installation Manager and be responsible for overseeing a team of Field Engineers. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Sales, National Accounts, Service Delivery, Training, and Compliance, to ensure a seamless and efficient delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive improvements in the quality and efficiency of installation services delivered to Secom customers, ensuring high standards of satisfaction and performance.
* Oversee installation engineers through regular site visits and team meetings, providing clear guidance and support.
* Conduct and oversee audits to confirm that all installations meet or exceed required quality standards.
* Actively promote the company’s goodwill and uphold its reputation in all customer and team interactions
* Conduct contract reviews of orders received from the sales department to ensure compliance with contractual terms, accuracy, and alignment with company standards before installation begins.
* Set clear objectives and expectations for all engineers, focusing on key performance metrics such as job completion rates and efficiency. Conduct regular 1-2-1s engineers to support their growth.
* Provide assistance to the sales team as needed, contributing to seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor strengths and weakness of engineering team and create training plans to develop skill set
* Undertake other duties as required to support the goals of the role and the organisation.
* Responsible for customers and their installations within primary area
* Perform regular inspections of company assets, including tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
The Candidate
We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in a leadership role within the Fire & Security industry, ideally with experience managing large field teams. You should be commercially aware, have strong financial acumen, and be comfortable handling P&L responsibilities.
