About the Role To support continued growth, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, carrying out important admin and accounting tasks. You will become an integral part of our team, supporting the Accounts Manager and Finance Director with invoicing, sales & purchase receipts, utilising Sage Cloud, company CRM system and the Google suite. Highlights of the role Order and Invoice Management: Use the company CRM system and Sage Cloud to action orders / invoices. Credit Management: Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients, and manage credit limits for clients. Credit Card Administration: Manage credit card receipts and statements for senior members of the team. Payment and Overdue Management : Liaise with the Finance Director regarding payments in and overdue payments. Supplier Invoice Management: Manage supplier invoices, ensuring they match the expected values. Documentation and System Updates: Input all documentation into Sage using the correct department and nominal code. Financial Reporting Support: Assist Accounts Manager and Finance Director with accounts updates and monthly reports. CRM and Team Coordination: Liaise with team members and assist with order implementation on Company CRM systems. General Support Tasks: Assisting with other miscellaneous tasks related to the role. What Does Success Look Like in Accounts? Accurate, timely, and well-organised financial records that support CNSs operational goals. Seamless collaboration with teams to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance. A proactive approach to optimising and refining CNSs financial systems and procedures. Candidate requirements: Essential Proficient in Sage Cloud (or similar software), Google Docs/Sheets, and basic IT skills. Experience with sales order systems and administrative/organizational tasks. Strong people skills, customer service, and attention to detail. Confident working with numbers and data. Flexible, proactive approach to tasks. GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. Eligible to work in the UK. Desirable/Preferred Sage Cloud and CRM system training (Salesforce or Advendio). Payroll experience using software.
