Commercial Services are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. Commercial Services is instrumental in driving financial stability and supporting the business in delivering its long-term strategy through effective Procurement and Commercial Management.
Our Commercial Services Transformation programme aims to increase capacity and capability across the department which in turn will drive increased value and greater compliance business wide. This role sits within our Commercial Excellence team, as a team we will be leading the transformation programme, driving continuous improvement through our ways of working and ultimately enabling the Commercial Services department to achieve its goals.
Where you fit in:
As our Commercial Change Lead you will be involved in;
* Supplier Management: Drive forwards the Supplier Management transformation programme - a key priority for the business.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain excellent working relationships and knowledge of the areas of focus assigned to you.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the change and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
* Change Advocacy: Actively champion the change across all levels of the organization, ensuring a clear understanding of its strategic importance and long-term benefits.
* Planning & Coordination: Manage a pipeline of change activities that align to Commercial Services goals.
* Project Support: Support the delivery of change projects with governance, systems, data, and individual project support to remove blockers and drive efficiencies.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead change / improvement projects to improve ways of working for Commercial colleagues and the business.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Experience of delivering and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours at all levels.
* Previous experience in a commercial/procurement environment – Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) knowledge is essential.
* Ability to absorb technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrate relentless drive, energy and determination to deliver sustainable change for YW.
* Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire, motivate and influence individuals.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with colleagues and customers.
You will also benefit from having:
* Significant experience of managing transformational change in large organisations.
* Qualified in change management practices.
* Previous experience gained within the water industry.
