1. Demand Forecasting:
* Develop and maintain an accurate demand forecast for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather input for demand planning processes.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize forecast errors.
2. Inventory Management:
* Monitor inventory performance, including stock levels, aging inventory, and slow-moving products.
* Implement strategies to minimize stock-outs and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
* Drive continuous improvement in inventory turnover rates and working capital.
3. Supply Chain Coordination:
* Work closely with supply planning teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and stock availability.
* Identify and address potential supply chain bottlenecks or risks proactively.
* Support cross-functional S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure supply and demand alignment.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
* Analyze historical sales trends, market conditions, and promotional impacts to enhance demand planning models.
* Provide regular demand planning reports and insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
5. Process Optimization:
* Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to support business growth and efficiency.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives within demand planning to enhance automation and accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or similar.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* Regional or multi-country experience, especially in the APAC region, is highly preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in demand planning software/tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams across the region.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of accuracy.
6. Technical Knowledge:
* Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Query, & PowerBI.
* Familiarity with S&OP processes and principles.
7. Language Skills:
* Fluency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory.
