Working Hours: 7.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday in 4, 8am-12pm Location: JPS, St Lawrence Rd, Newcastle-upon-Tyne NE6 1AQ Key Responsibilities This is a multi-skilled role covering key areas of our branch, you'll mostly pick stock in our warehouse and load for customer delivery, manage incoming stock and serve customers at our busy trade counter, no two days are the same Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values Pick and prepare customer orders in our warehouse and liaise with the rest of the warehouse team to ensure orders are accurate Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts and rotations Serve customers at the trade counter using our in-house systems to process orders - develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions Keep the branch and warehouse looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Required Skills and Experience Previous industry experience preferred but not essential Experience in a busy customer facing environment Comfortable with manual handling of bulky materials Passion for working with people with a positive can-do attitude What’s in it for you: Competitive salary and discretionary bonus A wide range of voluntary benefits including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle2Work, Benenden Healthcare and more.
