As ADI expands into new product and market segments, the Precision Convertor Group is looking for a highly skilled Analog I.C. Design Engineer.
The UK design office based in Newbury has an opening for Analog Design position as an I.C. Design to support the Precision Converter group. As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to:
1. Transistor-level circuit design and simulation
2. Architect, implement and analyze trade-offs of analog blocks
3. Understanding of device-level operation and physics
4. System and block level circuit simulation and modelling
5. Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory
6. Interface with test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through production release
7. Support analog layout
You will play an integral part in the development of our products.
Requirements:
8. (BEng/MEng/PhD) with 3-5 yrs experience in analog designExperience on design and layout of amplifiers/comparators/ADC/DAC/bandgap/sample and hold system.Experience in designing high speed precision analog blocks in 40nm or less would be an advantage.
9. Strong background in device physics and semiconductor processing.
10. Familiar with design, simulation and modelling of analog
11. Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills
12. Ability to collaborate in a team environment
13. Knowledge of general lab equipmentExposure to Si debug and characterization
14. Any programming knowledge, Verilog, MATLAB and Labview experience is also relevant to the position
15. Must be self-directed, detail-oriented and thorough
