Your new role In this exciting role, youll be the backbone of our Support Office, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes Youll juggle administrative tasks while supporting the Senior Leadership Team and lead a small team that takes care of Reception and Housekeeping. If youre ready to make an impact and have a good time doing it, this is the place for you A day in the life of An Office Manager, You will be accountable for admin access on multiple portals, goods ordering, supplier management, expenses and travel bookings. ? Youll make catering arrangement for any required meetings taking place at Support Office ? You will help plan, implement and embed any new ways of working across the Support Office and for the Office Support colleagues. ? In your role, you will liaise with Sofologists at all levels, across all business areas. You will build strong working relationships with stakeholders, and be trusted to provide efficient and confidential support and updates on time, and in a way that is clear, concise, and engaging for the audience. ? Given that you will lead a small team, you will be responsible for effectively leading this team and ensuring that there is always adequate cover during periods of annual leave or sickness. This may include you personally covering any of these areas. ? Accountable for ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and efficiencies are achieved and managing the team against these ? Overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of the office, including managing the office budget, recording expenditure, and managing invoices ? We want you to take the initiative and consider ways in which we can be more efficient in Support Office ways of working and processes and how we can enhance the visitor experience. ? You will be an advocate of high standards across the building, so you will need to set an example of what this looks like and have the confidence to challenge in the right way any behaviour that does not align with this. ? It is important that all visitors receive a warm welcome to Sofology and inquiries are dealt with in a helpful and professional manner. In an ideal world You will have the following experience ? The ability to communicate both verbally and written with Sofologists at all levels, building strong working relationships, enabling you to deliver on their requirements and expectations. ? You need to be able to adapt and respond quickly to change ? Timely completion of tasks and accuracy and attention to detail are key. ? You will have experience in Line Management and have the confidence to motivate and performance manage if required ? You will have a strong background in administrative roles ? Strong IT and typing skills ? Strong team working skills are a must. Youll also possess the ability to work well alone, adhering to strict and often short deadlines. ?
