Service Coordinator
Starting salary: £24,500 per annum (will increase to £25,500 after successful 6 month probation). First year OTE £26,250
Plus department bonus scheme of an additional OTE of £1,500 per year. You’ll be eligible to join this bonus scheme after your 6 month probation (to clarify: your bonus for the first 12 months will be £750 due to not receiving bonus whilst in 6 month probation).
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week). No weekends.

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton. You’ll be working full time – office based at their Head Office. Our client is a globally renowned manufacturing business, supplying most of the well-known brands like Amazon, Royal Mail, McVities, Waitrose and John Lewis and many more.
Purpose of your role:
The main purpose of this role is coordinating all customer call-out visits for breakdowns by allocating the work to our client’s field-based technicians across the UK geographical area. This role is very reactive; urgent requests come in from their commercial customers. It’s your job to rapidly respond and issue the work to the best fitting technician, whilst also fulfilling all relevant administrative and customer service duties in relation to your role.
To be successful, you’ll need a well-organised approach to work and excellent attention to detail. As this is an operational-based role, priorities can change in a heartbeat, so you need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment with a natural ability to remain calm under pressure and seek solutions to day-to-day challenges relating to your role.
Summary of responsibilities:
1. Assigning engineers for reactive “breakdowns” across the UK.
2. Effectively and efficiently planning engineers' daily work schedules.
3. Invoicing jobs on completion and if required, chasing parties involved for specifics to be included on invoices.
4. Handling customer queries and updates.
5. Managing spreadsheets – proficiency in using Microsoft 365 is required.
6. Updating the system with pricing visits before and after completion.
7. Tracking Warranty, Sales Remedials, and Defect Investigations.
8. Keeping SLAs in accordance with customer expectations.
9. Responding to customer emails in a professional and timely manner.
10. Requesting purchase orders for services when applicable.
11. Collaborating with other team members to achieve and improve overall customer experience.
12. Providing status updates to customers.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Entering service request orders using company software.
