The Operations Warehouse Manager oversees a team of two people, ensuring the coordination of operations, working directly on machines, and optimizing processes to guarantee performance, safety, and quality.
Main Responsibilities
* Supervise the reception, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
* Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of cutting machines.
* Optimize equipment utilization and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Manage stock levels and optimize distribution flows.
* Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.
* Lead and supervise a team of two employees.
* Train staff in machine operation and safety procedures.
* Define schedules and organize work based on production priorities.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
* Implement and maintain quality standards and certifications (ISO 9100).
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce waste.
* Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the workshop.
* Propose and implement actions to improve productivity and machine reliability.
* Collaborate with other departments (purchasing, production, logistics) for optimal raw material management.
Required Profile
* Education: Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, production management, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
* Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in operations warehouse management, machine operation, or logistics.
* Key Skills:
* Proficiency in stock management tools and ERP software.
* Experience in operating and supervising cutting machines.
* Strong leadership, training, and team motivation skills.
* Knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental standards (ISO 9100).
* Organizational skills, responsiveness, and analytical mindset.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
* Preferred previous experience in a warehouse environment.
* Preferred valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documentation.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
* Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Commitment to safety guidelines and protocols.
* Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
